CHRIST FOR ALL NATIONS

Ephesians  3:9
And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Isaiah 54:5
For thy Maker [is] thine husband; the LORD of hosts [is] his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

When you read through the prophesy of Isaiah you see a shift from the Israel - Judah monopoly to the revelation of God of all the earth.

The liberation of the world was imminent, it was routed through the Jews, but it was a new dawn, yes a new covenant. Glory to God!

Hebrews 12:18,22-24
You have not come to a physical mountain, to a place of flaming fire, darkness, gloom, and whirlwind, as the Israelites did at Mount Sinai.
No, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to countless thousands of angels in a joyful gathering.
You have come to the assembly of God’s firstborn children, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God himself, who is the judge over all things. You have come to the spirits of the righteous ones in heaven who have now been made perfect.
You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel.

So when God spoke in Isaiah 54, He compared the prophesy to that of Noah, the judgement of the whole world and not of Judah alone:

Isaiah 54:9-10
For this [is as] the waters of Noah unto me: for [as] I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

This relationship was not the one God had with Israel, No. This is the relationship between Christ and His bride, "the church".

Ephesians 5:25
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Revelation 21:1-3
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone.
And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.

The revelations of Isaiah surpassed Judah it was to those who had become the righteousness of God:

Isaiah 54:17b
This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness [is] of me, saith the LORD.

1 Corinthians 1:30
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Thus when we see the promises, and the declarations, we know that the Lord is speaking to us:

Isaiah 54:12
And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.

Isaiah 54:13
And all thy children [shall be] taught of the LORD; and great [shall be] the peace of thy children.

Isaiah 54:14
In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.

Isaiah 54:15
Behold, they shall surely gather together, [but] not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

Isaiah 54:17a
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.

And Jesus says it this way:

Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

The promises of old now revealed in the new to sons and not as to people far away, that is what Christ's death and resurrection did for us.

Glory to God!

He calls us blessed.
