WHEN YOU DON'T WANT IT TO GO

1Thessalonians 5:19
Quench not the Spirit.

There are those times, those moments when you experience God's presence, so overwhelming that you just don't want it to end. You feel so captivated like Peter at the transfiguration and say :

Matthew 17:4
Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

Those kind of explosive experiences could come when you have personal worship, a special group programme or encounter a great anointing or anointed one.

We do good to treasure those moments, however they are not be idolized but be the prompt for a step ahead, a growth.

For we still wear this perishable body, yes, however we must know how to connect with the divine. We must remember that we have the Holy Spirit indwelling in us:

Romans 8:9
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

We must not neglect His presence but know how to stir up His gifts.

1 Timothy 4:14
Do not neglect the spiritual gift you received through the prophecy spoken over you when the elders of the church laid their hands on you.

Yes we should not let the flow cease, we must remain in tune with the Spirit.

Not just the feeling, but birthing it in WORD & MEDITATION, PRAYER and WORSHIP.

1 John 2:27(NLT)
But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.

DON'T LET IT GO! Go beyond the feeling grab the substance and don't let go.

Yes He calls us blessed.

Love
