WHEN GRACE IS EXPRESSED

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:

We were called from rejection into royalty. Empowered to live the type of life God wants us to live. That we would show forth the praises of Him who brought us into His everlasting life.

Thus having been brought out of the bondage of the law, which was not actually given to us but to the Jews. We enjoy eternal grace as the bible puts it "the Jews first then the Gentiles".

Yes that is why Jesus started His ministry with the Jews. However He continued in Samaria and He said "to the uttermost part of the earth".

Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Thus, the gentiles never had the law, so it was easy for the grace to be expressed, it was(and is) more difficult for the Jews cause they had been patterned to believe the law (works) could attain them salvation. (It is not easy to restructure or pull down an institution).

However we should note that the gentiles did have ordinances however this may not be in respect to the true God, the Heavenly Father!

However as Romans chapter three explains, all were brought under sin, that all can enjoy true salvation in Christ Jesus. As He paid the price on our behalf.

So in grace we don't just see forgiveness but also empowerment.

Thus we must not then think that we could live anyhow else we fall into putting old wine into new bottles. Sin is dead in us, WE WERE REBORN! Selah

Matthew 7:20
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

As we work and fulfil our purpose, we must not get carried away and forget the character we possess, our nature by the Spirit. "Who birth us into the nature of His Spirit".

Our service must be with good character, unless we do not want the reward.

We received the Spirit that we may live and display God's nature. (Galatians 5:22-23)

We must know the character of the Spirit we carry and get better day by day.

Just like that royal baby grows in the way of royalty to become that adult prince or princess. We must grow in grace. Selah

2Peter 3:18
But grow in grace, and [in] the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him [be] glory both now and for ever. Amen.

This is not going back to the law but living out your new nature. Selah

It is the flesh that resisted us from serving with the character of the Spirit. We can never get enough reminder of our nature:

Ephesians 5:9-10
(For the fruit of the Spirit [is] in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

I see us expressing our grace in every good work. May many come to the Lord as the light of our grace shines all around us.

He calls you blessed.
