NO AFTERLIFE
Matthew 18:23
Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.
What if there was no afterlife?
Some will say, what type of question is this? There should be afterlife.
Well are we living as if there is?
Are all our actions not restricted to this earthy life?
Romans 14:12
So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
Yes all of us!
The principles we live by, the lifestyle we take, the influence for all our decisions and actions. Do we have the afterlife in heart?
Are we controlled by
* love of money
* tribalism/racism
* wrath/rage
* our feelings
* what people would say
* pride
* revenge
* lust
* fear
* praise of man. . .
. . .
If we believe there is an afterlife, do we live as if there is one?
The Messiah gave a parable:
Luke 16:31
And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
Wisdom is to know Him whom we are to account to before we meet Him.
We will not be rejected, we who have accepted Him and walk with Him.
Have you, if not, what are you waiting for?
I see us finishing well.
He calls us blessed.
