KNOWING THAT THERE IS AN AFTERLIFE

Titus 2:11-13(NLT)
For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people.
And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God,
while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.

Knowing that Christ will return to make us like Himself, free from the world's troubles and our pains, we live in expectance of Him. Not in idleness, for He did not call us into idleness or mediocrity but into fulfilling of purpose.

Just like in His parable:

Luke 12:43-44
If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward.
I tell you the truth, the master will put that servant in charge of all he owns.

Wonder at those church leaders who have permitted lazy youths, idling away, when they ought to be about secular and spiritual businesses.

No work, no pay, no food! That is bible standard!

So since we look unto an afterlife with the Messiah, when we will be in the Heavenly Father's house, we must wake up from our slumber, dropping all things that hold us back, running the race set before us, with the character(fruit) of the Holy Spirit and the power of His gifts.

It is key, for we run to get a reward. Knowing that some have already gotten their reward here on earth. Selah

As we plan for secular retirement we also plan for retirement to the afterlife. Assured that when we leave here into countless years, eternity, we go to reap from wise investments.

Matthew 6:20-21
Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.
Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.

(Do talk with the Father today.)

I see us finishing well.

Glory to God.

He calls us blessed.

Love
@the watcher.
