PRAYER OF AGREEMENT(in one accord)

Matthew 18:19
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

Christ taught us that when we agree together in prayer, the Father will do that which we ask for.

Yes, the question is, "where we truly in agreement?"

Time and again, people have said "amen" to prayers that they do not understand or their mind have not really been attentive too. The fact that there is a crowd, does not mean that all hearts are actually in agreement.

Teaching on tongues, Paul said:

1 Corinthians 14:16
Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?

If it is a prayer of agreement the parties involved must really be in agreement, that they may have that which the request of the Father.

Acts 2:1
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

(accord: Agreement  or concurrence  of opinion, will, or action.)

See again:

Acts 5:12
And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.

How many in our gatherings today are really in agreement with the brethren? Do not everyone seek their own individual need and glory?

Are we even in agreement with the Heavenly Father? Selah

For the power of God to manifest in our generation we must be in agreement. Thus Christ prayed:

John 17:22&21
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

In agreement, we can turn things around in our homes, establishments, church and in our nation!

We bless God for our spiritual leaders may our hearts agree with them as they agree with the will of the Father. May those who have derailed repent. May those who are false or wolves be exposed and driven away. May the will of the Heavenly Father be done.

Glory to God.

May we in one accord seek the Father, may His power be released afresh in us.

Halleluyah.

We are blessed.

Love
