LOVE OVER KNOWLEDGE

1 Corinthians 8:1b
We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.

It is said that: "no one cares what you know until they know how much you care"

No matter how much you think you know, without love you just get puffed up in pride and become more of a snare than an edifier.

We have many who claim to have knowledge of God yet they have no love. What use is that knowledge?

Our love begins with the love for God and this is what we express to one another.

No matter how much you claim to know, if the love of God is not in you, you are not of God. God does not know you.

1 Corinthians 8:3
But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.

You cannot claim to know God and not walk in love: remember that the summary of the law is love. It takes love to walk uprightly
Firstly love of God, then love of others.

1John 2:4&5
 He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

What are the summary of His commandments:

1John 3:23
And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

1John 4:21
 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

John 15:12
"This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

Romans 13:9
 For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not bear false witness," "You shall not covet," and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

LOVE OF GOD PASSETH KNOWLEDGE!!!

Ephesians 3:19
to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

So let all things be done in love.

1 Corinthians 16:14
Let all that you do be done with love.

What is the use of the gifts of the Spirit without love. The first character of Him who released the gifts is Love. Selah

1 Corinthians 12:7&8
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,

Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Remember that love is the key to eternal life. Matthew 25:31-46.Selah

1 Peter 1:22.
Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,

2 Corinthians 13:13
 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

As we go through the 11th month of this year of accomplishment, let us be reminded. When it seems to hurt so much, or it all looks quiet and alone, when it appears not to work out.
