HE WILL YET COME
2Peter 3:3-4
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation.
Yes, this is the reason for having many false prophets, con men in cassock, money conscious individuals, stealing and doing other abominable acts in the name of the Lord.
It isn't strange, this is what the scriptures revealed. That it will seem to them that the coming of the Lord had delayed, they will think, "oh, will He ever come?"
2Peter 3:8
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
So many have calculated times, predicting the year in which all things will end, yet it hasn't!
Jesus the Christ said:
Mark 13:32
But of that day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Our duty was to watch and pray:
Mark 13:33
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
We should not forget that, the moment we die, Christ has already returned for us. Selah
Hebrews 9:27
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
So awake brethren, let us not stay asleep. We need to fulfil our purpose. We need to carry our plough and follow Him.
No matter what we think, feel or perceive. HE COMETH QUICKLY!
Revelation 22:12
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
May Christ return and find us spotless, doing the good work He has called us for.
Let us be able to say like the writer of the book of Revelations:
Revelations 22:20
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Halleluyah.
He will meet us worthy, spotless and working. We will not be carried away with what the world has to offer, neither with doubt and unbelief.
We are the blessed.
