WHY CHRIST WAS BORN?
Galatians 1:4
Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
The purpose of Christ birth was His death, then His resurrection. Many religions claim to believe that Christ came, yes that is historically correct, however His death and resurrection they reject, thus they miss salvation.
He was born that He would suffer and die and His death would be the payment of sin. His resurrection, the victory over death. Thus man's redemption is complete. Halleluyah
John 12:32-33
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all [men] unto me.
This he said, signifying what death he should die.
Salvation is in your believe that He died and that God raised Him from the dead. Selah
Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Just as David prophesied:
Psalm 16:10&11
For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fulness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures for evermore.
So we see:
Acts 2:32-33
This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
Therefore as many celebrate today, be it in ignorance or knowledge: We rejoice that joy came into the world, that God and man is reconciled again as God intended it to be from the beginning.
Luke 2:10-14
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Do not just celebrate but accept the redemption that God gave to man. Remember that if any reject His salvation today, they will yet appear before His judgement seat after here.
You who have believed, share this truth to others who are yet to believe.
What foolishness to reject such love, that one would lay His life that we will not be condemned.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Oh what love!
We are blessed.
