YOUR TIME
Psalm 1:3
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
One reason for good timing is preparation. What an error to give a position to a man that lacks experience or wisdom.
Yes we live in fast paced times, where everything seems to move so fast. Yet we must work by times and seasons.
There is a planting time, the weaning time and also the harvesting time. Every one of God's own we see as examples in the old testament went through their seasons of preparation before they ventured into the next level.
Hebrews 5:12
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which [be] the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Almost all who did not go through the training, did not finish well. Selah
Moses was not left in the kings house, he had to flee and be trained in the wilderness so was Jacob, Joseph, Daniel etc.
1 Corinthians 10:11
Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
No matter how much you are hyped to jump to the next level, don't stop learning, experiencing, praying and staying steadfast. When your season comes it will be so swift you will not have to struggle.
HAVE YOU BEEN TRAINED? Selah
1 Peter 5:6
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
Have you been laying about, idling away? Have you decided to stay in one spot? Wake up, you may just be your own delay. What has the Spirit been leading you to, that you have kept ignoring due to fear and laziness? Arise!
One thing I have observed is that every position I have ever been, prepared me for my next position. It may be so for you too. Thus enjoy where you are now, make the most and best of it in preparation for your next level or assignment.
Genesis 31:41-42
Thus have I been twenty years in thy house; I served thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy cattle: and thou hast changed my wages ten times.
Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me away now empty. God hath seen mine affliction and the labour of my hands, and rebuked [thee] yesternight.
Your breakthrough time is here, however:
HAVE YOU BEEN TRAINED?
DO YOU LIVE BY THE SPIRIT?
Acts 4:13
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
May we always be ready.
Remember that the greatest of all times is the end of all things.
Romans 13:11
And that, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep: for now [is] our salvation nearer than when we believed.
Are you ready for your time outside this life? Selah
We will not be caught off guard, we will be prepared. We will not miss our time.
