DON'T REMAIN A BABY!
Hebrews 5:13
For every one that useth milk [is] unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
One thing most people would not like to be called is "a child". We desire to be called "mature". Some quote the number of years they have been in the christian journey. Others could talk of who they have associated with, pastors and leaders they have met. In all, we are not matured until we can take strong meat, teach and have disciples.
Hebrews 5:14
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Some say "talk is cheap" but to produce result is what tells if you are what you claim.
The only way we can bear fruit is when we abide in Christ. There is no way you abide in Christ and not grow.
John 15:5
I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
You can not grow if you do not feed in the word and do spiritual exercises. Selah!
1Peter 2:2
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
Then,
2Timothy 2:15.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Knowing that,
2Timothy 3:16-17
All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
So that,

The kingdom of God and its authority is not for babes in the faith, but for babes in humility, simplicity, trust/loyalty and purity of heart.
Matthew 18:4
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
We who want to inherit God's kingdom and hold eternal positions of authority must be matured.
The major evidence of our maturity is when we lead many to Christ. Selah
Enough of sleep, let us arise eat and exercise, the work still abounds.
Luke 10:2
Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
May the Master return and not find us sleeping. Selah
Mark 13:35 - 37
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
Glory to God, we will not remain babies, we will not keep sleeping, we will arise, we will grow, we will bear fruit and the Lord will be pleased with us.
