ALWAYS ABOUT HIM
Matthew 6:1
Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
One thing about God is that He does not share His glory with any man.
Isaiah 42:8
I [am] the LORD: that [is] my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
When we do what we do that men will praise us, God says we should not expect any other reward from Him, we have already been rewarded.
Matthew 6:5c
Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
We should be careful of pomp and show off, we ought not to get carried away, lest, we begin to receive praise from men.
The bible says that when our light shines, it is God who receives the Glory. Selah
Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
May the Heavenly Father Himself guide us by His Spirit, that we bring glory to the Father. Halleluyah.
Colossians 3:23
And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
We will not err.
