YOUR END OF LOVE
1John 3:23
And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
We live in the world where love has been defined by the wrong parameters. This is mainly because of competition, envy, the crave to be above and the desire to suppress. Not excluding the desire to rebel against God.
Paul wrote about this in 2Timothy chapter 3:
2Timothy 3:2-4
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
This should never be the character of those who profess Christ. The new birth comes with God's Spirit taking over our spirit and thus we submitting to the spirit and not to the flesh.
No matter what people have to say, love will be the defining factor of eternity with God.
Matthew 25:34
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Do we then go about as believers expecting people to love us? We may be disappointed:
1 John 3:13(NLT)
So don’t be surprised, dear brothers and sisters, if the world hates you.
This is the world, however we have those who profess to believe but yet still live like the people of the world. Selah
James 4:1
From whence [come] wars and fightings among you? [come they] not hence, [even] of your lusts that war in your members?
We are commanded to love, not because others love, but because we are of God and God is love.
1John 3:14
We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not [his] brother abideth in death.
May all we do in service and in living be done in love. We will be like our Father. We will be accepted. Glory to God.
