Habakkuk 2:3
For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
One great revelation we have in the book of the prophets is what is revealed in Habakkuk's prophesy in Chapter 2:
1. He was at His watch
Colossians 4:2
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
2. He knew he needed direction(the vision) that he could answer anyone about the reason why he does what he does:
Habakkuk 2:1
and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
1 Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
3. The Lord laid His visions in His heart
1 Corinthians 2:10
But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
4. He was to write them down. The visions were not limited to Him alone.
Habakkuk 2:2
And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make [it] plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
1Thessalonians 1:6
And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost:
5. We wait in patience, though the fulfilment of the vision tarries it will yet be fulfilled without delay.
Hebrews 6:12
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Colossians 1:11
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
Habakkuk 2:3
For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
6. Then we continue in faith: yes faith from first, faith to the end.
Habakkuk 2:4
Behold, his soul [which] is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
Romans 1:17
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
We can not afford to loose the visions the dreams, if we are to fulfil what the will of the Lord is.
Ephesians 5:17
Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord [is].
Be it our ministry, career, family, business or callings we must always follow the Habakkuk prescription.
I see reawakened dreams and visions. I see a new zeal and drive. I see YOU succeeding. Glory to God!
We will not be disillusioned, we will not be weary we will keep moving forward by the power of the Holy Spirit.
At the end our Lord will say "Well Done"
Glory to God
We are the blessed.
