Our Hope in God

Ephesians 1:18.
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Many believers are yet to understand the hope of their calling and the glory of the inheritance we have in Christ Jesus.

Some still hold on to the street of gold and mansion analogy, which is just a minute interpretation of a great glory.

John 14:1-3 (NLT)
“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.
There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.

The glory is that we will always be where Christ is. Selah

John 17:5
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Do we have any idea what this glory we are to enjoy with Christ is?

As believers here on earth we enjoy a measure of this glory.

Ephesians 2:6
And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus:

We have power to overcome every power and authority in the name of Jesus.

Ephesians 1:21
Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

We are therefore able to answer anyone who asks us of our faith cause we know!

(Ministers continue to teach and emphasize this!)

1Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

However the greater hope is in eternal life, we display the colonial power of God in our earthy time. Which is empowered in us to win many to God, fulfilling God's will. We then enter into the fullness of His glory after we have finished our work here.

What a win-win situation.

For this hope we keep ourselves clean from the old things, the flesh and all forms of sin.

1John 3:213
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

No matter the tribulation, the persecution or the sacrifice, we are in a win-win situation. Glory to God.

We have this hope, and we purify ourselves. Glory to God.

We win.

We are blessed.
