Galatians 6:4
But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else.
Each of us have our calling, talents, gifts and anointing. We have all been sent and loaded with what we need to achieve our purpose.
As we grow we could get carried away and try to compare ourselves to others. In doing so we could easily loose focus and also get disillusioned.
Our mind must be fixed on the right thoughts:
Philippians 4:8(NLT)
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
2 Peter 3:18
Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.
We are not sent to compete with one another but to run the race set before us keeping our eyes on the price.
2 Corinthians 10:12(NLT)
Oh, don’t worry; we wouldn’t dare say that we are as wonderful as these other men who tell you how important they are! But they are only comparing themselves with each other, using themselves as the standard of measurement. How ignorant!
Philippians 3:14-15
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
We are our own competition. Christ is our focus.

As the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only about the lord.”
May we never get carried away.
May we fulfill our purpose.
