COME CAUSE HE KNOWS

Hebrews 4:13
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things [are] naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Someone once said:
"it takes a man who has been through fire to bring you out of fire"

Through the old testament, after the fall of man, we see a God who seems far away from man, it was as if man could never be able to please Him. Man had to beware His presence, His ark, His temple etc

Hebrews 12:20&21
(For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
And so terrible was the sight, [that] Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)

So prayer was made uncertainly, worship given in fear and deeds done legalistically.

Then God came into the world and dwelt with man for thirty three years. He went through all man had to go through as a sojourner on earth.

Hebrews 4:15
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin.

So when we come to Him we see that He has been there, we are assured and understand that He knows how we feel.

And thus we come boldly:

Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Glory to God. We experience His soothing embrace as He tells us that He knows.

What a waste when we run to man or seek mundane beings when it seems we are facing trouble. When we could come to the one WHO KNOWS. selah

He never sleeps nor slumber, network does not interrupt His line. Neither is He too busy for us.

The prophets of baal prayed through the day to an ear that could not hear, but Elijah prayed to the God who was always awake. Why wouldn't fire descend to consume.

1 Kings 18:28&29
And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.
And it came to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the [time] of the offering of the [evening] sacrifice, that [there was] neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded.

1Kiings 18:38&39
Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that [was] in the trench.
And when all the people saw [it], they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he [is] the God; the LORD, he [is] the God.

So next time you desire to run to man, or powers remember that it is to Him who knows we come to first. Glory.

We are blessed.

Love
