WE ARE LIGHT
1John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Jesus said that none had seen the Father at any time, He Christ Jesus was the one who revealed the Father to the world:
John 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [him].
John 6:46
Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
John 8:38
I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father?
This is key for us to live the life we have in Christ Jesus. These are times when a lot of things influence the thoughts, words, relationships and lifestyle of the christian.
So what did Christ Jesus reveal:
1John 1:5 & 9
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
[That] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
2 Corinthians 4:6
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
He revealed and brought us into this light:

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
So our salvation now made us light, a reflection of God:
1Thessalonians 5:5
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
1 Peter 2:9
But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
so that is what Christ has made all believers. . . LIGHT
However the world is still in darkness, no matter how many denominations, religions, beliefs and sects we have, it is only in Christ Jesus that God the Father is revealed as who He is "LIGHT". Many things try to contradict this truth and thus draw us into diverse types of darkness but we must remain who we are (light) till Christ returns to bring us into the fullness of Himself.
So no matter what we encounter or face, in and out of the church. We must not allow ourselves get entangled with darkness. Remembering that illumination comes from the revelation of His Word.
Psalm 119:130
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
That having eyes we might see, so many have eyes in this world but cannot see, because their mind have been blinded by false religion, hatred, false doctrines, the desire to be above others, competitions, tribalism, sweetness or deceit of sin, racism, form of godliness, love of money, desire of power and fame, sorcery and fear. Including the dwarf called condemnation.
(Joh 12:40)
However WE ARE LIGHT we cannot be bound by any of these. NEVER!
