THE STORM, YOUR TEST
1 Peter 5:10
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you].
For God our difficult times is to bring us into a new glory.
Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.
Therefore we should:
2Timothy 2:1
You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
As long as we live here on earth there will be times when the storm would rage. When things may not look as we want it to. When our faith is challenged.
Let us be reminded that nothing stands to be accepted as true or as what it is, till it has passed its own test. Everyone even Christ Jesus went through the tests. The examination leads to a promotion.
1Peter 1:7
that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
Every promotion comes after the test has been passed. Yes, it may look difficult, however, when it is over, you get promoted.
1Peter 5:10
But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
Yes after a little while!
We will not get tired.
We will not give up.
We will not give in.
We have victory.
The promotion is ours.
Please never think you are the only one, you have no idea what that brethren you envy is going through. selah!
We get better by the storms, we do not sink in, we rise above the tides!
We are blessed.
