THE CONCLUSION (Isaiah 66)

Isaiah 66:1&2
Thus saith the LORD, The heaven [is] my throne, and the earth [is] my footstool: where [is] the house that ye build unto me? and where [is] the place of my rest?
For all those [things] hath mine hand made, and all those [things] have been, saith the LORD: but to this [man] will I look, [even] to [him that is] poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

The prophesy of Isaiah was so significant to the plan of God for Israel and humanity. It was cited here and there in the New Testament signifying the revelation of the different seasons.

So just as God told David, "where is the house you will build for me?". Not the physical edifice, but the heart, because God dwells in our inside through His Spirit. As Jesus explained to the Samaritan woman.

John 4:24
God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.

It is not how beautiful the house of worship is but how beautiful the hearts that come to worship. That longing in the heart for God that leads to full obedience and display of love.

Chapter 66 concludes with the lot of those who accept God, those who walk in righteousness, they will live with God in the new heaven and the new earth.

Isaiah 66:22&23
For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
And it shall come to pass, [that] from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

However, those who reject Him and thus worked wickedness will have everlasting condemnation in hell.

Isaiah 66:24
And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
(why would anyone not believe that there is a hell)
