AS WE GATHER
Matthew 18:20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
As we join other believers to worship, pray and study God's word, let us remember the reason we gather. The originator of our union. Christ Jesus. He promised that two is enough to provoke His presence, that bond that allows us manifest His glory.
Whatever it is that would want to take away His dominance must be resisted, it must be all about Him. Thus even as we overlook the shortcomings of man yet we never condone sin, filth or laziness, but encourage God's love, faithfulness and accountability.
There is a conduct in the house of God. Selah
1Timothy 3:15
But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
Remember that all things will still come under Christ.
Ephesians 1:10
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him:
Jude 1:24-25
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present [you] faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
To the only wise God our Saviour, [be] glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
