THE AFTER GLORY (Isaiah 60)
Isaiah 60:21
Thy people also [shall be] all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
While we enjoy God's glory, splendor and power here on earth, we must remember that the main glory, the real rest is after here. What we enjoy here on earth is just a glimpse of what the Lord has in stock for us in eternity.
Hebrews 4:8-9
For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
We must never forget that the real rest is after we have left here, else we will get carried away by the activities of the flesh and thus miss it.
1 Corinthians 15:19
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
Now remember:
While we are here we are subject to the laws of the flesh but when we resurrect we are no longer bound by those laws:
* to eat you have to work
* the law of gravity
* you take care of your body
* you face persecutions, temptations and trials
* you fast, you pray, you study the word
* you need to sleep and to excrete
* you may even fall ill or get weak as you get older
* you could even become apostate or backslide
* you are limited by a human flesh
All these and more limitations abound.
This is truth, the real victory is after here!
Isaiah 60:1
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
Yes we arise and shine in the revealed glory but let us not forget that we work now and we rest after we have worked.
Hebrews 4:9-11
So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God.
For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world.
So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall.
We should not get it twisted, we should not confuse the victory we have here on earth(temporary) to the rest that awaits us. Selah
Isaiah 60 is the testimony of the "after here"
Isaiah 60:19-22
“No longer will you need the sun to shine by day, nor the moon to give its light by night, for the lord your God will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.
Your sun will never set; your moon will not go down. For the lord will be your everlasting light. Your days of mourning will come to an end.
All your people will be righteous. They will possess their land forever, for I will plant them there with my own hands in order to bring myself glory.
The smallest family will become a thousand people, and the tiniest group will become a mighty nation. At the right time, I, the lord, will make it happen.”

Revelation 21:1,22-26
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone.
I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light. The nations will walk in its light, and the kings of the world will enter the city in all their glory.
Its gates will never be closed at the end of day because there is no night there.
And all the nations will bring their glory and honor into the city.
Therefore let us all awake, arise shine and reveal the glory of the Lord risen on us. Let us take charge and fulfill our ministry. Remember every blessing we receive on earth here is for us to use to fulfil our call, to do our assignment and to do good.
We must never get carried away in compensating ourselves.
Romans 14:17
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
The Lord will lead us aright.
Our messages would not only be limited to making money, or making it in this life, but doing kingdom business.
We would not err, we have the Spirit.
We are the blessed.
