IT ALL COMES BACK TO CHRIST (Isaiah 2)
Isaiah 2:2
And it shall come to pass in the last days, [that] the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
We live in times when so many religions, beliefs and opinions exists. It is a circular world and powers also do tend to impose one religion or the other on the people they govern (categorizing atheism as a religion also). Worship has not been liberal through times, it did not just begin. We remember the record of Daniel's three friends who refused to worship Nebuchadnezzar's statue. Even David refused to worship king Darius contradicting the bogus law of the Mendes and Persian. We even see the false accusation against Christ and his apostles as a rebellion against the ruling authority of the day.
Today we still have people who kill others for refusing to follow their own belief. We see people manipulate others all in the name of religion. Religion entwined in politics. Insincerity and lies abounding.
In all these the truth remains that man originated from God and man will still account to Him. The only book that gives full and accurate record of God and man is the BIBLE!
Not assumption, not uncertainties, no, facts, real facts - truth!
Psalm 24:1&2
The earth [is] the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
And God's revelation to man was through His son Jesus the Christ.
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Jesus said:
John 14:9 & 10
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father?
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Yes that is how it pleases the Father, so it is left for us to receive. We do not decide the course, God does, however we decide if we will follow it or not. Rebellion did not start today also repercussion did not begin today. Sodom and Gomorrah still stands as an evidence!
So no matter how the world tries to run the system every one will still submit, either to everlasting joy or everlasting torment.
Isaiah 2:12
For the day of the LORD of hosts [shall be] upon every [one that is] proud and lofty, and upon every [one that is] lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
We live in this truth and we do well to tell it to others.
Every pride of man will always be humbled.
We are of Christ, we have a place with God. We will have eternal joy. Thus we stay in His presence.
