Isaiah 3 (We would not err)

Isaiah 3:10 & 11
Say ye to the righteous, that [it shall be] well [with him]: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
Woe unto the wicked! [it shall be] ill [with him]: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

Isaiah chapter 3 was a prophesy against Judah and Jerusalem because of the evil they had allowed to take place in their land. Just as it is today, their leaders were part of their problem. They caused them to sin.

Isaiah 3:12
[As for] my people, children [are] their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause [thee] to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

At that time women ruling and very young people ruling were regarded as a disgrace. (even till today. . .  if you understand its interpretation)

Seeing the err of these people of old, just like Jesus told the Scribes and Pharisees:

Matthew 23:29&30
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

The question is always this: We that know the errors of those who had gone before us, do we still commit this same errors?

It will be well with the righteous: It shall be ill with the wicked!

Unless we no longer read scriptures, we need to see were those of old failed and learn to stand by the power we have today: THE HOLY SPIRIT!

Hebrews 3:12-14
Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.
You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God.
For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.

We must warn each other each other day! : That is one reason we have this daily devotional. We cannot relax in the spirit, our spirit cannot get tired.

We stand strong, unshaken, firm and steadfast in the power of the Spirit of Christ. That power that God used to raise Him from the dead that He now sent to us and quickens our mortal bodies. Halleluyah!

Many things can happen, we could try to be smart or cunning, yet let us remember we are still man, we become divine by His spirit, that evidence of our sonship.

Glory to God!

We shall not fail, fall or falter. We are overcomers.

We are blessed.

Love
