God answers
John 14:13
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Psalm 66:19
But certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer.
There are times we feel God is taking His time. We hear our self say things like, I have been waiting on the Lord for this and for that. It seems to us that the Lord desires that we should pray, pray and pray before we get that which we desire.
We may not be able to explain why some things do delay, or do not actually come to pass, the moment we declare them. One thing is sure though:
1Peter 2:2b
but now you have come back to him who keeps watch over your souls.
Psalm 34:7
The angel of the Lord is ever watching over those who have fear of him, to keep them safe.
We cannot say that there is anytime we pray and God do not answer. What did He say? Was it a dialogue or a monologue?
Can we recall those times we called out silently to God in a moment of pain or distress and suddenly all became calm, the pain goes away, the sickness is gone or that trouble is no longer a threat?
We suddenly forget that it was the hand of the lord that worked it out for us. His angels responded to our inner plea and worked out that miracle.
It could be so much a relieve that we try to explain it by a physical means. No, it was God's hands that worked it.
That
* joy the blurred out your depression
* accident that was averted
* shame that could have broken you
* sickness that would have led to death
* loved one that would have been a victim
* provision that came
* peace that filled your mind
* good news that suddenly came
* storm that finally became calm
* temptation the Lord suddenly made a way to escape from
The Lord hears us and He does not take lightly our cry to Him, He guards our spirit with so much love.
Proverbs 20:27
The Lord keeps watch over the spirit of man, searching all the deepest parts of the body.
He dosen't ignore us, He is always there when we need Him.
May we never waver in faith and may nothing be strong enough to make us faint.
Keep praying, keep giving thanks. Stay in the Word.
The Lord has got you. All is well.
Do have a splendid week.
Pray, worship and rejoice with the brethren today
We are blessed.
