GROWTH CONTINUES

Romans 13:12
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

There is always room for improvement again and again as we move on in life, the good is to improve by becoming better and better with each passing day. However we are faced with environmental factors. Whether we want to or not we get affected by them and they affect our growth.

Luke 8:8
And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Yes the effect could cause us to adopt mis-growth, thus becoming thorns instead of good fruit, or just impeding our growth. Then we hear of believers who have known the Lord for twenty years and yet still act and live as a new convert.

That is why the word came in the book of Romans:

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Besetting sins could also abound and thus cause harm:

Hebrews 12:1
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Halleluyah we do not need to remain where we have been, we can arise and make things happen. Illumination through God's word and His Spirit would lift us out of stagnation and bring us into quickened life. We then begin to fulfill our purpose again.

Ephesians 1:18 & 19
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
And what [is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

The season of change has come, the Lord calls all soldiers who are asleep to awake. The sons and daughters of God are being revealed afresh.

Mark 8:34
And when he had called the people [unto him] with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

1Timothy 4:14
Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

I see God at work through as we go on this year, fear and doubt is removed, no more stagnation, we arise and shine.

Halleluyah!
