IT IS FINISHED (a reminder)

Acts 4:12
"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

Acts 4:10
"let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.

John 17:4
"I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.

John 19:30
So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

We do not to keep struggling with religion, with the law, with the former things.

There is good news, IT IS FINISHED.

* it is not in progress, He has done it

* he is not saving us, He has already saved us

* He is not working it out, he has already worked it out.

* He is not fighting the enemy, He has already defeated him on the cross, so we need not negotiate with the enemy.

* He is not healing us, He has already healed us.

* He is not trying to answer our prayers, He already has.
So we ask, believe, speak and receive.

1Peter 2:24
who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness--by whose stripes you were healed.

We don't stay around it, we don't argue about it, we cannot afford to  procastinate.
We take that which is offered, that which is true.
We walk in victory.

Titus 2:11-14
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,
teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,
looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

We who have received this grace live this life in the knowledge that Christ has finished the work.

So we grow in faith by the power of the Holy Spirit increasing everyday, knowing that we have the victory.

1Corinthians 15:57
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

"We do not need to fight a finished battle" Instead we live in the victory we have!

Yes, it is finished, the enemy can't deceive us otherwise, the victory is complete.

John 20:31
but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

Philippians 2:10
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

Let us go ahead, living in His victory.

Yes it is finished.

God bless you.
