INSTUCTIONS
Proverbs 1:2
To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
Proverbs 1:7
The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of knowledge: [but] fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Jeremiah 17:23
But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction.
Instructions come in various ways, for various reasons and for different purposes. We could have instruction for:
* Health
* Family
* Business
* Career
* Marriage
* For spiritual living
* For the after life
The need for instruction cannot be overemphasized when we understand that, as humans, we have limitations:
* We see to a level
* We think to a level
* We remember to a level
* We then act according to the measure of what we know
Thus we need instruction and directions.
The glorious is when it is the Lord instructing and directing.
The bible says:
Proverbs 2:6
For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth [cometh] knowledge and understanding.
The last days are times when the instruction of the Lord has been replaced with the wisdom of men, philosophy and human delusions. When mammon, ego, lust, pride and envy have caused many to come "in the name of the Lord" yet have not departed from iniquity or obeyed the voice of the Lord. They stand in high places never the less, God is not there.
The truth is that both the good seeds and the tares would grow together but the harvester would separate the tares for destruction:
Matthew 13:30
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
We must make out time, when we must, in wisdom, confirm if we are living in His instruction.
Philippians 2:12
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
We need to listen to those who have authority in areas of concern such as, doctors in matters of health, business experts in forecasting the market, lawyers in matters of law and so on. However when the Lord instructs all these other instructors are OVERRULED!
One of the dangers of latter day christians, is when they do not know Him as Father but desire and seek other mediums. A lot of teachers do lead people astray in this line. Making it seem as if the heavenly queue is separated into various groups each led by one leader or teacher, or bishop or priest or pope. No!
Definitely we must have leaders, elders and teachers we honour and respect, however we must remember:
Romans 14:10
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
Matthew 23:8-10
“Don’t let anyone call you ‘Rabbi,’ for you have only one teacher, and all of you are equal as brothers and sisters.
And don’t address anyone here on earth as ‘Father,’ for only God in heaven is your spiritual Father.
And don’t let anyone call you ‘Teacher,’ for you have only one teacher, the Messiah.
Each time I read these verses just like when I go through Mathew 5 and many of the teachings of Christ through His three years on earth. I see how much we needed to be saved from the curse of the law, then to receive power to live the way God wanted us to live. Truly no man could keep the laws(... by strength shall no man prevail)
Thus as we receive instructions from God's word day after day and His Spirit interprets and empowers us from the inside we will do exploits. His embedded power and glory within us would be revealed, we will know accomplishment.
Therefore stay awake, arise, study, listen and meditate. Nothing will stop you.
Know what you listen to, let your instructions come from the right source. Create an ear that detects right and wrong advice.
We will not err.
I see a listening ear, I see teachers, pastors, leaders and experts who will instruct aright. I see a people led by the Lord, I see a glorious you.
God bless you.
