GOOD SEEDS
Matthew 13:23
But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth [it]; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
If we are of God, our life must show it, by the daily obedience to His Word.
Luke 6:46
"But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do the things which I say?
The only way to know His word is by studying them, then the Holy Spirit keeps reminding us of them.
John 14:26
"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
We should remember that whom we obey is who is Lord over us
Romans 6:16
Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness.
Obedience to God saves us a lot of trouble, cause we will avoid lots of mistakes and the devices of the enemy won't attract us since we are directed by Him who sees the end before the beginning.
There is this continual desire to live outside of God's leading. It is a false sense of freedom which the enemy loves to capitalize on.
Temptations would not end as we continue to live on this earth, thus we cannot afford to become slack or slumber. We must yet be watchful and vigilant.
1Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
May we never fall, fail or falter.
May our lives reflect Jesus the Christ whom we obey.
Prayer:
I am in Christ, therefore my life will reflect Christ.
So help us God.
