WE STILL PRAY

Prayer is key to the growth and sustenance of the believer.  One of the reasons people get weary in praying is when they feel that their prayer(s) is not answered.

When you pray, remember what Jesus said:

Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

We sometimes forget those times we are in a dilemma,  we call out the name of the Lord and instantly He takes control.

Some of us are yet to see prayer as communication with God and not just an ask and receive routine.

James 4:3
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume [it] upon your lusts.

When we pray a lot of activities take place, we need to remember that we pray to change things. Just like Jabez' prayer. Do we also understand that when we change a part, the other part is automatically affected.

Take the case of the sons of Zebedee:

Matthew 20:20 & 21
Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping [him], and desiring a certain thing of him.
And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.

Well we may all attack her as selfish, infact, the other disciples were not happy with them.

It is an illustration of requests that affect other things or other people.

Are you expecting great things this year? The Lord may have already answered, though it may not have been exactly the way you expected it. Wait for it.

The Lords see farther than our limited vision!

However, remember:

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.

So does any delay or expectation want to take away your joy, and make you not able to join in thanksgiving? Do not give it room, because the Lord heard you, the delay would be for your good.

God would work it out. He keeps all things balanced, the way He keeps the universe balanced.

We need to always remain in constant communication with God through His Spirit in our spirit. Then we see that our prayer would not just be that chidish ask and receive but a son/daughter to father communication.

Yes we need to cry out to heavens since we are yet limited in this mortal flesh.  Yet the shoutings are not what would move God,  Hannah's words could not be heard yet heaven was listening with keen interest.

May divine wisdom come on us,  we would not be the same.  Glory to God.

We can rejoice brethren. The blessings are already being revealed.

God bless you.

Do have an awesome week.
