HAPPY NEW YEAR
Welcome to a new year, we are happy that God allowed us to see it.
Today being the second day of the year is no different from any other day of the year.
So what makes a day special or vice versa, it is dependent on what happens on that day. And a lot of what a day is depends on what you do or do not do.
The best thing to happen to you is to have God's hands favourable towards you each day.
Romans 5:1
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ
This is the most important thing you must settle before other things begin to matter.
No one will threaten you with hell or condemnation.
Then you move ahead to take control of things, first in the place of prayer then to good planning, dedicated work, commitment and sincerity
Genesis 1:27
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.
Can you imagine the heaps of prayers and requests forwarded to God from the 31st December 2017 to the 1st of January 2018. Many days in this quarter would yet be allocated for fastings and more prayers.
Not all that made these requests would get them, but those who focus on their vision/plans and are dedicated to achieve them.
They will listen in the spirit and get direction.
They will be updated with information and make the right choices at the right time.
They will keep the right company and use their time wisely.
They will make themselves useful to God and man.
As we look forward to promotions and better things, let us give our best where we are now. The Lord would open more doors to us.
Money gimmicks will not take you there
( Giving to God is not a ponzi scheme).
It is your natural commitment, your responsibility.
In all your doings, please do not let your love go cold, that is the character of God living and evident in you.
Stay in Prayer, study the word and worship God.
Plan to lead others to Christ this year. Evangelize!
Let us go and enjoy a better and glorious year. It is well with you and yours.
