THINGS ABOVE 1

Colossians 3:1
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Why do we need to be reminded of this? It is because we live here on earth and the earth has its desires.

We have to:

* eat, cloth and shelter
* work, save and invest
* pursue our career
* marry, build a home and raise children
* deal with other people
* cater for dependants
* relate with society
* work with the government
* and so on

All these are good activities, but they could take our mind from where we came and where we are to return. Making the word of no effect in us.
If we are not careful.

Mark 4:19
And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

Before we came to Christ, sin caused our seperation. When we are in Christ, sin could stop our blessings, our move, authority and our ministry.

Isaiah 59:1- 2
Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear.
 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.

Hebrews 12:1
 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

Therefore we run, not relying on ourself but enjoying His mercy.

Temptations would not cease, challenges would not end, but in all we need to remember that our strength, health, provision and our God is of Above, therefore we set our minds above.

Do not give sin room, do not dwell in that evil thought( let it go ), it flies around our head, but it must not settle there.

I decree all is well, because the Messiah, Jesus the Christ has said so.

Things will fall into place.

We will end this year well.

Our minds are set above, thus the window of heaven is open to us.

God bless you. And all of yours.

Love.
