NO!, IT IS FELLOWSHIP
Relationship is a two way affair, it becomes a burden or domineering when it comes one way.
When we make our relationship with God a one way affair we wonder why we don't have complete happiness even when our desires are met.
When we make our relationship with God a one way affair we wonder why we don't have complete happiness even when our desires are met.
It is not about the needs or the wants it is about fellowship . . . Jesus said:
Matthew 6: 8, 32
"Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
"For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
Jesus makes all the difference, He is the one who reveals the Father to us and in this our joy is full. Not because of the things, but because of Him. Then our joy may be full.
John 15:11
"These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
John 16:24
"Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
It is about fellowship!
1Corinthians 1:9
God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
1John 1:3
that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.
Really nothing in this world can satisfy, we will keep seeking for more and more. What really we desire is full joy NOT earthly possessions, pleasures and achieveness, they cannot give us that. What it gives is only temporary we will thirst again.
John 4:13-14
Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,
"but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."
The worries and troubles of this life could make our mind wonder away, only to think of needs, wants and solutions.
Still let us remember that it is our fellowship in the Father, in the name of the Son through His Spirit that will make our joy full.
I see you enjoy your relationship with God as we approach the end of this year.
God bless you.
