NOT HIGHLY THAN . . .
NOT HIGHLY THAN . . .
Romans 12:3
For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
We are privileged to be called God's own. That is if we have accepted Him. What we received and became at conversion is so great we really cannot take it lightly.
Yet we grow everyday from the point of taking spiritual milk till when we attain maturity, then we begin to eat spiritual meat.
1Peter 2:2
as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,
Hebrews 5:13
For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.
But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
So believers grow in the knowledge of God, having revelations and doing exploits.
In all these, we always need to remember that we are man and He is God. Yes He is Father and we are sons, we must never go besides ourselves, making ourselves more highly than we ought to.
Malachi 1:6
"A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If then I am the Father, where is My honour
Always remember that the higher we go the more battles we must have fought and won.
Maturity brings about responsibility, do not get carried away.
You don't need to seek distractions, they are everywhere coming with different packages, styles and forms.
So no matter how much exploits the Lord permits us to achieve we must never loose focus of who receives the glory. Selah!
May the Lord keep us the way He want us to be.
May we not think ourselves higher than we ought to think.
May we display and enjoy the full measure of the glory, God has given us.
We will not be distracted.
We will yet do more exploits
Halleluyah.
God bless you.
