HOW SURE ARE YOU?
1Corinthians 3:13
each one's work will become manifest; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is.
We could set out a principled lifestyle. To make people take us as this or that type of person. We could make such and such claim. The truth is everyones' work will go through the fire test.
We could claim such and such perfection but have we gone through tests, have we proved what we claim?
Sometimes sterotyping changes
"Your feeling at this moment may not be the same when the weather changes"
*Don't tell me how humble you are until you have a place of power
* Don't tell me how prudent you are, till you are handling lots of money
* Don't tell me how patient you are until you have dealt properly with your spouse, children, employer or employee
* Don't tell me how much faith you have, until you have nothing and no promise from anywhere
* Don't tell me how much love you have until you have been hurt, yet you still resolve to show love
* Don't tell me how holy you are, until you have been tempted, and yet without sin
* Don't tell me how much you love God, when you can't obey Him.
1Timothy 3:10
But let these also first be proved; then let them serve as deacons, being found blameless
We live in a time when people mount positions of power without first being tested for integrity. God's standard being traded for man's sentiment.
2Corinthians 10:18
For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
But I see a generation of believers who will arise from this sleep and device of the enemy and begin to occupy our place with our heavenly Father.
Where God can say "
Job 1:8b
"Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?"
I see us arising from every fall. I see us a testimony, as we go through the remaining half of this year.
We will be a testimony, heaven will rejoice because of us, the earth will see God through us.
