WHY HURT ME

WHY HURT ME

When God told the children of Isreal not to murder in Exodus 20

Exodus 20:13
"You shall not murder.

They took the instruction as literal until Jesus explained it to us.

Matthew 5:21-24
"You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not murder,' and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.
"But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!' shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of hell fire.
"Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,
"leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

Every activity we do most times involves someone else. In our interaction with other people we cannot afford to be unconscious of them as people who have feelings and can be hurt.

The evidence of our love for God is seen from the way we treat our fellow humans with us here on earth.

1John 3:11
For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,

1John 3:10
In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

As we transact business, take decisions and achieve our goals this year may we not leave behind hurts, pains and murder.

Hebrews 12:14
Pursue peace with all men, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:

May we leave behind satisfaction, love and integrity.

May the true character of God be seen in us.

God bless you.

Love.
