WHEN YOU POINT THE FINGER! (a reminder)
Revelation 12:10
Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.
I remember ministering some years ago at a youth convention and I was led to comment on the "accuser of the brethren". This role was where the enemy "satan" was placed. It is terrible when we place ourselves in this position or become an assistance to him.
Accusation is intended to bring the other down, it is different from, correction.
Accusation could be from hate or envy, Correction is from love.
1John 5:16
If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that.
We live in a time when proclaimed believers abhor correction and try to put it in the same place as judgement. We must understand the difference.
2Timothy 2:25
in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,
Christianity without correction and accountability is what leads to abominable acts and complacency.
We must avoid taking the place of the enemy as the accuser of the brethren yet still be able to correct with love.
The Spirit will open our minds to understand and to do.
We will not err.
(have you spoken with the Father today)
God bless you.
Love
